The work presents the reality of the migratory process existing in Western Eurasia, desiring to contribute to the understanding of migratory movements in Spain within the framework of the new reconfiguration of the geopolitical map and migratory mobility in Europe. Migratory flows of the Eurasian countries regarding to their dimension, the origin and the characteristics of flows are studied through a comparative analysis. On the one hand, it focuses on Russia, immigration magnet for countries of Southeast and former countries of the USSR; on the other hand, it deals with Spain as a destination country, territory of the EU, key to immigration from the countries of the Eastern Europe.
