In November 1995, it was the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in Barcelona. And Barcelona has also been the chosen, in November 2008, to host the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean. It’s a touching tribute to a Catalan town which is while the South and the beating heart of the sea mother: the Mediterranean.
