Summer course of the University of Alicante “Rafael Altamira” which examines the evolution of relations between the European Union and the countries of the southern Mediterranean basin in recent decades through an interdisciplinary approach. It begins with the study of the Euro-Mediterranean process which started with the so-called “Barcelona process”, and continues with the implications of the European policy of neighborhood and of the Union for the Mediterranean (UpM), to later move to address other dimensions of this process. The course will take place between 15 and 18 July 2013.
